Our Purpose
We advocate for empowerment through practical means. Our goal is to help you find all the resources available to you. We are not reinventing the wheel.
We provide guidance, strategies, and support during the processes and bureaucracy ahead.
Understanding the history and regulations that emerged from the Labor Movement in America is a crucial component in securing your rights. That's why we create and share content that informs and supports your decision-making.
Finally, we want to amplify your voices and offer a space to share your experiences, grievances and important information free from retaliation. W.R.E.C. accomplishes that through our unapologetic transparency and robust archiving systems.
There's no reason to do this alone. This channel is now your link to a supportive and collaborative space.

One of the issues facing us at HS is our weak representation coming from Union Representatives that currently serve our department managements interest.
As an added push to gain more ground leading up to October's Negotiations, we want to wake up our local Union by targeting representatives ( to include shop-stewards who have not proven to serve our interests.
WE CAN RECALL THE VOTE AND REINSTATE Union Representatives, of our choice, to amplify our voices when October talks come.

According to data collected by the Bureau of Labor Statistic in 2023. 69% of Americans spend over an hour a day commuting to work. 4% percent of the population representing millions of Americans have to use public transit
Average commutes could take hours a day.
The US Census Bureau shows commute times are longer for low-income workers and people of color, particularly those using public transportation.
These differences are linked to historical and ongoing inequities in housing and economic opportunities.
Yet employers are not required to compensate for travel time….
Proper Compensation being a key target for the our campaign we wanted to highlight this disparity between employer and employee. There is a definite correlation to your jib title and your experience commuting to work either by car or train or bus for that matter.
- CEOs and Upper management: Access to company CC
- Company cars
- More disposable cash and salary packages with commuting compensation included
This short depicts the real travel route of a HS worker from Rye NY into Queens.
It's an anthem to the average everyday commuter.
WE SALUTE YOU!

This is a series of stories that calumniated in the initial complaints against management. These are some of the events leading towards the Campaign. We want to highlight these for two reasons. One, to give you actual information on what your recourses are when treated improperly in the work place by management. Two, we wanted you to have more clarity about how this employee took this experience and leveraged the existing polices to fight back. All the rights that he exposed are yours to use to your avail as well.
Watch this and other videos in this section to hear more stories that might sound familiar to you.
Have you had any kinds of run-ins with management or Union Representatives that were similar?
If you have we want you to share them with us. Drop some cellphone videos or audio describing your experience into our drop-drive. Not using your name, we could reproduce the events either in writing posted to the pod-page or we could make a video for you or maybe just post your audio....its up to you.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS
KNOW THE STRATEGY
The WREC Campaign was created in direct response to poor working conditions that workers have experienced at Hospital Services (HS) in New York Blood Center Enterprises (NYBCe). Our position is that the conditions are being amplified by the derelict attitudes and processes towards these conditions on the part of both Management and local Union 202 leadership.
THIS IS ABOUT REPRESENTATION!
